Various takes on Hoi Sin Sauce

In a previous blog post, I wrote a brief recipe on "making" hoi sin sauce. So I thought I'd share with you how I like to mix up hoi sin sauce. The measurements I've given below are estimated from memory. The amount of chilli sauce for each method can be adjusted to each person's liking.

Method 1 - "the lazy person's method"
2 tablespoons hoi sin sauce, 1/4 teaspoon hot chilli sauce, a squeeze of lemon juice.

Method 2 - the not-so-lazy person's method
Same as method 1 + 2 tablespoons of crushed peanuts which have been pounded to a paste-like consistency

Method 3 - the "I feel peckish" method
2 tablespoons hoi sin sauce, 2 tablespoons cooked glutinous rice (passed through sieve), 1/4 teaspoon hot chilli sauce, squeeze of lemon, 1 tablespoon of crushed peanuts which have been pounded to a paste-like consistency
