What do I want to do with my life?
Today I woke up feeling a lot more discontent with the current state of things than ever. Other days I would be in a "meh, I'll put up with this" kind of mood. But now I know that I won't be happy if I have to spend the rest of my working life in IT. That brings me to: if I don't want to do IT, then what do I want to do for a living? My first thoughts turned to dancing, but most dancers' careers started a lot earlier in their lives. I also thought of taking up fencing, but I don't know where to find a good club. When I was younger, I wanted to work in tv but I shelved those dreams when I took mother's suggestion and enrolled in B Science in IT. There are a number of other things I'd rather be doing than IT, but I don't want to change unless the new career was something I was really passionate about.

I remember you wanted to be a Journalist. What happened to that Idea?

I know you like craft, so why not textiles?
being a teacher would be alright. all you have to do is a Masters then maybe you can be a teacher in IT?
My original dream was to work in television. I like craft, but I hardly have enough time to do it these days. Plus I have my HECS debt to pay off.
