The past several weeks have made me realise just how much I enjoy programming. I'm talking real programming: C#, WPF, etc. Not SQL. Most of the stuff I've been doing is management style work. Keeping tabs on people seems to be what my main priority is these days. That and I seem to have too much on my plate...
Is it a case of "the grass is greener on the other side"?

What I miss most is the creative process of making things like art, software and crochet. I pack my sketch book and pens in my bag every night, but by the time I'm on the train I'm feeling too drained to be doing anything except go back to sleep. I want to draw, but a voice in my head is telling me to forget it because I'm not one of the few "artistic" people in the world.
Tomorrow I'm going to have a go at drawing something... anything...
